People around the world are demanding better for those who are impacted by dementia. Alberta’s upcoming provincial election and Canada’s upcoming federal election are the perfect opportunities to speak up and educate politicians about the impacts of dementia on you and your family. Need ideas? Check out “Queries for the Candidate” for questions to ask candidates, provided by Kim Brundrit of Dementia Network Calgary.
Ron Posno and Dana Livingstone are two Canadians who have been speaking up. They are challenging Canada’s MAID legislation. Read the story “Death and Decisions” to better understand the complexities of this important and controversial issue.
Susan McCauley is another Canadian who is speaking up.
